A Rare and Important Large 17th Century Italian Chest of Drawers with Side Cabinets


Its walnut case exhibiting four wide drawers, the uppermost with broken pediment over balustrades and ebony bordered raised panel motifs, flanked by two vertical side cabinet doors, all resting on an ebonized and natural walnut base over ogee feet.
Signed and dated by Giovanni Batista Barcarolle, 1694.
